Traditional hand-woven lurik textiles, once a very proud part of Javanese culture, with colorful combinations of stripes and squares in harmoniusly balanced motifs.


Simple in appearance but Rich with symbolism : eternal life, hope, willingness to face challenges, and as steady as the sturdy banyan tree…






We were born from a group of people who concern on cultural heritage, especially on hand-weaving tradition.


Founded by five ladies, We wanted to preserve the hand-weaving tradition in Indonesia and simultaneously empower women, encourage women to contribute in improving their livelihood and take part in bringing prosperity to our country.


Supported by Global Environment Facility & UNDP and Women Crisis Center, we made recovery program for women group on hand-weaver community, whos victims of Jogjakarta Earthquake
